英文の本で恐縮ですが、"People and Forest -Policy and Local Reality in Southeast Asia, the Russian Far East, and Japan" 日本語に訳すと表記の表題の本が、Kluwer出版社から出版されました。財団法人地球環境戦略研究機関の森林保全プロジェクトによる研究成果の一部を中心に編纂されたもので、編者は、同プロジェクトの東京大学の井上真、岩手大学磯崎博司の両名です。
キーワードは「森林管理における住民参加」ですが、「日本の森林計画における住民の参画」というセクションを小生が担当しました。
基本法の改定や国有林の改革など、最近の関連法制の解説、森林計画制度の紹介をしています。知床問題以来の国有林の住民参加についてのレビューをしているところがオリジナルかもしれません。機会があったらご覧下さい。
